We dont need the type of feminism hat turns men into second class citizens. We dont need the kind of feminism that strips men of their masculinity. We dont need the kind of feminism that mirrors what men have done to women in years past. What we need is a feminism that takes power from being strong women. We need a feminism that understands, that unless there is balance, and equality among the genders we still havent solved the problem. We need a feminism that celebrates masculinity too. We need a feminism that celebrates the beauty and necessity of everyone. Until we as women can treat men like how we want to be treated, we cannot say that the feminist movement has done a service to anyone. Repeating the mistakes of our male counterparts in the name of justice, is justice for no one. Have we not learned from our grandmothers oppressors? Where is the mans voice? Within the Goddess religions I am seeing an inequality. Without woman, an cannot be in existence, but please dont forget that without man, woman cannot be in existence either. We need each other equally. A wise feminist knows this, she doesnt need to step on a man to feel her own power. She finds it within herself.
