We dont normally post stuff like this...but this email really made our day! Thanks Chris! I dont usually email food companies selling heat and eat foods, theyre either gloriously shit, or acceptably edible. I usually go by the motto you get what you pay for and leave it at that, along with the associated flatulence. I was recently at our local Countdown and saw that one of your Angus Beef with Rosemary pies. Being a Kiwi male, Ive had my fair share of pies, and have dabbled in some of the fancier pies (i.e comes in a cardboard box). Theyre usually gloriously sh*t. Your pies are f**king awesome. In the words of my fiancée, sweet Jesus, thats good. The pastry wasnt that rubbery crap found in other pies. There was actual meat, not the questionable things found in other pies. Oh, and dat gravy. You seemed to have taken advice from the recent Game of Thrones episode, Don’t get me started on the gravy...See, a lot of people give up on the gravy, but you cannot give up on the gravy. Looking at the back of the fancy box, it was bloody awesome to see ingredients that do not have numbers in them, or need some sort of advanced learning degree to understand what the hell that ingredient is. As a former chef myself, Im sure I could chuck this on a plate with some salad, give it some French sounding name, sell it for $20, and wait for the Michelin star to come in the mail. Absolutely awesome job with your product. Im getting married in December, and you lot will be the sole reason I fail at shedding for the wedding. As Jamie Oliver would say, bloody gorgeous. Keep up the great work - its awesome that the pies you had on your website looked almost exactly the same as the one I had 5 minutes ago #nofilter
