We encountered a guy driving a convertible BMW today. A little older than I am and driving as if he had places to go - like back to Alabama (no offense to my AL friends, but he was nowhere near the border and driving like a dork). I turned to Lily and said, "I bet he wanted a beemer in the 80s when they were actually cool. Wanna bet this is his midlife crisis car?" Then asked her, "Wanna know what my midlife crisis car would have been? A hotrod (hardtop sedan, slightly lowered) with flames and skulls all over it. And with flames coming out of the exhaust pipes. And fuzzy dice with a bobblehead Jesus." Nope. Not normal.
