We finally got a call back from the cancer clinic. Bellas ANC (ability to fight infection) went from 1.2 last week to 5.8 this week. This is an awesome increase in such a short amount of time! They want to keep her counts between 700-1500. They want her to stay isolated until Thursday and go and have counts done again that morning . If theyre up closer to the range they want them in, we can start giving her the oral chemo again that night. If not, I guess we wait a few more days and try again. Bellas body is recovering so quickly though! Last time her counts got that low, she had to get shots in her thighs nightly to bring up her counts and it took weeks. Now shes doing it on her own. God is good!!!
