We finished the Walk for Water and everyone made it!!! See the photo below...We are still short of the $1000 we need for one well so we will be taking sponsors for another week...Thanks to all of you who have already sponsored us and if you have not it is not too late. Until you actually walk the 13 miles I dont think you actually can understand what these people are going through. Then you have to get up the next day and do it all over again...God blessed us sooo much yesterday with bathrooms, weather that held out, four hours I could actually converse with my husband, Ben and Joy Gerig who took time out of their day to be at the 1/2 point to make sure we had water and snacks and a group of ladies that are dynamite!!! Thank you, Lord for your protection!!! I almost forgot another great benefit to this walk is that we used this time to pray for every school and neighborhood that we passed, the hospital, the parks, the mission, the fire stations, etc. Elkhart was prayed over yesterday and honestly it made the time go so much faster because our focus during those times was on the Lord!!!! Thanks again for the prayers and support and if you still want to support us...let us know...
