We forget sometimes that less fortunate elders have none to bridge the gap between being in the world as vibrant folks to those whose physicalitys have departed. Children and grandchildren who remembered when. If you are alone in that winter of life and all who you meet only know you as less that is often the perception that persists. The person who had an entire life becomes invalid and all they accomplished in love work and play diminishes like a dream in the waking of day.
