We give Goodluck Jonathan no credit at all. He did well in Ondo, Edo, Anambra & Ekiti states. He has done more for democracy in his unusual quiet self than all previous Nigerian leaders put together. In Jonathan as far as democracy is concerned, we have gold. It is left to us to value it or throw it away. The surest way to real democracy is for elections to be free, fair & peaceful. Even though it is NOT DESIRABLE for soldiers to be involved in maintaining peace during elections, where the body language and conduct of politicians before the elections are indicative of violence, they will, sadly though, continue to be relevant. Congratulations to all Osun indigenes for maintaining the peace and holding the best election so far in the 4th Republic. Congratulations to all Nigerians.
