We got a complaint of two dogs that are now occupying the area around the Ebeneezer Baptist Church. They have supposedly been in that area for two weeks. I was able to capture one today. She is a black lab mix and very sweet. She has an unregistered microchip that I was able to trace to a rescue that I am awaiting a call from. If you adopt a microchipped animal and do not register the animal that is like a big waste of time. The ownership cannot be traced unless they are activated. The only info I have on this dog is that her name is possibly Blue. More info will follow when contact is made with the rescue later today. There is also a missing german shepherd last seen running around by the golf course and the hospital. The owners info is on file at our office and the communications center, so if seen or captured call us at 706-439-6052 of the Sheriffs Office non emergency number.
