We got an email from Carl Vandy about organizing a cruise for the year we all turn 70. I included the text below. Hello Everyone, Hi Sandy, Just want to say thanks again for all of your hard work on the reunion - I think it was the best ever. I want to send out a general email to everyone you have email addresses for regarding the cruise for our 70th birthday. I was thinking of doing it the end of January of 2015 - I know there is a week there that is the week before the Super Bowl and for some people it will be getting out of the cold. We have gone on at least 14 cruises on several different cruise lines and have never had a bad time. I will look for a cruise ship that has a good reputation and people can either make their own arrangements through their travel agent or I will look for a good deal and they can use the one I find. This is going to be very informal. Depending on how many people sign up I am sure we can get a room for a night or two, but for the whole week we will see each other around the ship. I first of all thought no kids, but if people want to bring their grandchildren or other family or friends, the more the merrier, You may want to forward this email if you have everyone in a group. People can email me back and let me know if they may be interested. Once again, it is going to be informal. I want to use one of the large ships probably Royal Carribean and most likely leaving from Port Canaveral. I will make all of the inquiries as to dates and prices (prices of course depend on what type of room etc) People can email me with comments and hopefully we can get a large turnout - Hard to believe we will be going on 70 (my actual birthday is Jan. 29th) - this will be for 2015. Stay in touch - If you send this out have anyone who is on Facebook friend me - I will put some pics from the reunion on FB. Carl 630-988-3077 - my cell
