We got answers, although not what we were hoping to hear, but these past 3 months have been up and down for us & full of uncertainty so im glad we finally know! Nevaeh Garcia is doing good & handling things great! After tons of test the diagnosis is Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) which is a rare autoimmune demyelinating disease that attacks the central nervous system. There currently is no cure, but upside is there are meds that suppress the immune system to help stop the attacks. Well have to be back in Dallas in 2-3 wks for her first treatment and every 6 months from then on. Its gonna be a long journey for us, but were blessed with an awesome family and group of friends that are by our sides through thick & thin!! Thanksyou tons to everyone for all the thoughts, prayers, and for checking up on her!
