We had a Best Grilled Cheese Contest for Renards Cheese Employees today! Congratulations to the 2 winners!! Jenny - Mevin Mouse Special Grilled Cheese Heidi - Apple Jack Bliss Grilled Cheese Thank you to everyone who participated - your ideas were fantastic. I have shared the recipes below for both sandwiches. Melvin Mouse (Jenny) 3 slices Provolone cheese 3 tsp pesto 3 large spinach leaves 3 slices bacon 2 pieces Texas toast 1 tbl butter 1 tsp shredded Parmesan cheese Butter one side of each piece of bread, turn over spread pesto onto one slice of bread then top with one piece of provolone next spinach, bacon and the other 2 pieces of provolone, top with the other piece of bread and grill to perfection. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Apple Jack Bliss (Heidi) 2 slices sourdough bread 1 slice Monterey Jack cheese 1/4 cup Renards 2 Year White Cheddar 1 piece ham (optional) 1/2 cup apple slices 1 tsp cinnamon/sugar Butter one side of each slice of bread - sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar, turn over and layer with Monterey Jack, apples, ham, 2 Year Cheddar, top with other buttered bread. Place in oven until golden.
