We had a beautiful day here. 66 degrees on October26th Ill take any day! I even didnt mind so much the electric leaf blowers going nonstop. But then everyone and his aunt descended on the supermarket! Its usually deserted at six pm on a Sunday... and I wouldnt have minded so much except for the people who just completely hog an aisle, and refuse to move. One woman, with about a ten year old daughter in tow, halfway down one aisle... I waited patiently. I cleared my throat. The girl saw me and tugged her mothers arm. Another cart behind me, and another, and four more. I asked her politely if I could get past. I knew she wasnt deaf as she was talking to her daughter. Again. Now the whole aisle was clogged from one end to the other, even double deep beyond her. I turned and made my way back past those following and turned into the next aisle. Halfway down who comes around the corner and once again BLOCKS THE ENTIRE AISLE! We checked out at the same time. She had plenty to say to the cashier, none of it positive. As my bagger rolled the cart out to the car I saw her getting in hers. A 4-door Porsche Panamera... hmmmm... how the other half...
