We had a good visit with Jimmy, Sheri, Lara, and Kenny yesterday in Hershey! Even in a weeks time, Sheri looked so good! Shes not nearly as swollen around her face, neck, hands, legs, and feet. She had her tracheotomy Saturday morning. She doesnt have any tubes down in her mouth anymore since she has the trach, she has a feeding in her nose down to her stomach but will have a direct feeding tube to her stomach put in today. Heather, Ana, (her sister and niece) Simcha, and Antalya (our cousin and her daughter) gave her a manicure and foot massage and pedicure Saturday. Lachelle and Brian (maybe Carmen?? Cousins) were also in to visit Saturday as well as two of our friends. Shell start speech therapy later this week, shes been started on some physical therapy and will do occupational therapy later. They had her sitting up Saturday and did some things with her. Shell eventually be moved to Harrisburg or close by in Hershey once she can be off oxygen (have full oxygen saturation to her blood from her own breaths). Its been a wild month so far, but Gods hand has been in all of these things. He is so gracious and faithful and we are certainly blessed! Continue to prayer for Sheris progress and Sheri and Carlas continued healing!
