We had a great day at the shop yesterday when BIG SAM, DREW BAHAM AND JERRY HENDERSON from BIG SAMS FUNKY NATION visited. We asked Drew to play a new raw brass flugelhorn, and he sounded GREAT on it... even playing a mouthpiece that was a smaller diameter than he normally plays! We showed Sam some of our latest TROMBONE work and told him the small shank version is in the computer now with tooling in the works.
