We had a great day today. Two action packed tournaments, full of goals and technical brilliance. The players enjoyed themselves as well as the volunteers and parents. The year three to five tournament was won by a team captained by Imthiaz Hazard who played amazingly and showed the community how talented he was. Id love to name everyone who played in the tournament because everyone of them were stars, but Id be here all day. As for the year six and seven tournament that was played in the pavilion which was just as good as the first tournament. I was amazed with the amount of talent that we have in our wonderful community. The games were very competitive but they were also fair. Unays was man of the tournament, he demonstrated top quality finishing and he was a handful to play against. His team went on to win the tournament against the favourites on penalties who I felt were unlucky. It was a pleasure to spend our time with the youth today. They are always well behaved and we look forward to doing more tournaments and other activities with them. Id also like to take time to thank everyone who is a part of tiger bay development for making this possible. Todays coachs and referees who are tiger bay youth players and volunteers who took time out of there day to give back to the youth.
