We had a great meeting tonight. There were about 10 members and 15 guests. Andre did a great job of making sure the evening flowed smoothly. He decided on the inspired theme of the evening reflection. Karin added on that with the word of the day mirror We listened to two nice speeches. Aurelie talked how Failure Is Not an Option. Fabrice navigated us through The Maze of Flight Booking. Geert-Jan gave even more depth to the theme by asking people probing questions during table topics. He invited speakers to share their successes and life lessons in one to two minutes through questions like: What is the best thing about being you? Good evaluations of the prepared speeches followed. Joost evaluated Aurelie, Mathilde evaluated Fabrice. The speakers received even more feedback through a short open evaluation afterwards. We can be sure their next speeches will be even better. Jennifer told us how well we did in her general evaluation. After the meeting we had some drinks in a nearby pub at Plein. Two of our guests, the lovely Larissa and Larisa, joined is graciously. One day they will hopefully be great new members of our club.
