We had a great time at the birthday party!!! Thank you to those that came. While the food was being served my cousin joann says, James Zimmer invited a few people. I was like ok. I turn around and it is a man and lady, appearing to be homeless or very down on their luck, older. I was like it is ok. Then my dear friend Beth A Dow asked them if they wanted anything to drink, directed them to more food etc. On their way out the man says: I hope I can do something in kindness someday for you. My friend beth says: Pray for us!! I was thinking: Pay it forward. And this scripture came to mind: 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. If only we could do something nice everyday for someone and not expect anything back!!! This world would be a much better place. I just want to say I am so thankful that I have friends that would invite people in and make sure their needs were met for that short time. Be the change you want to see in the world. Today I was able to see it. Love you guys.
