We had a hard weekend. Trina Davis and I were laying in a hammock on Saturday. It was suspended between two tall six by six posts and it turns out one of them had rotted through over the years. It sheared off and we fell to the ground, pulling it down hard onto Trinas head. She sustained a substantial head injury and was taken by ambulance to Evergreen Hospital. Because of the size of the post and her symptoms, as well as the angle at which she was struck, they did a CT scan of both her head and neck and all was clear, thank God. Now its just time to heal, and fortunately, she is making progress. But, as was expected, shes still having trouble with lightheadedness, nausea, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating on anything complex (well, complex for her--shes still a good conversationalist). She is expected to make a full recovery within about a week. Dane did not see her or the ambulance, so fortunately wasnt too traumatized, but does seem to be showing some signs of duress, obviously seeing that she isnt doing well. Your prayers are appreciated.
