We had a not so great experience tonight at Ds Open House... It upset me and it made me angry...but I believe in New London...I love New London... But I cant stand when some think that their child deserves better than everyone elses child because their child is from a good family....now let me finish before some go crazy on this... I want more than the best for my children... I want them to achieve even more than what I could ever dream...I want them to attend the best schools... I want to expose them to all the beauty in our world...I want them to have the opportunity to grow, to dream, to imagine things I could never imagine...I want them to believe they have the power to change the world...but here is the thing...the biggest issue and cause for so many to believe that these things cant happen in NL.....there are way to many who believe that these things are only available to the kids that come from good families....from those who live at the other end of town....until we all truly believe that our child AND every other child sitting in the classroom with him... Can and should be allowed to reach those goals.... We will stay exactly where we are right now... Angry, disappointed and frustrated
