We had a phone conversation with IPRAs PR/FOIA Officer Larry Merritt and a unnamed tech from IPRA on January 8th. In this conversation we were informed that while IPRA has the ability to enter data into the database they use (the CPDs CLEAR database) they do not have the ability to export data from the system. This translates in reality to the fact that IPRA really does not maintain their data but are reliant on the CPDs ability to maintain the database and data. We informed IPRA that they now need to formally respond on paper or through email to our FOIA request and then CJP will take the necessary steps to follow up.
