We had a real productive meeting Fri. night! The first thing we addressed was the date for the Youth Squirrel Hunt Sept. 14th. It conflicts with the Barbecue Contest that Sat., so we changed it to Oct. the 26th @ 1 pm. Watch for posters. SEPTEMBER 28th. will be our 2nd ANNUAL YOUTH FUN DAY at the park!!! Games for all ages 0-15! For ages 6-15 we will have a Casting Contest, BB Gun Shoot and a Scavenger Hunt. Trophies and prizes awarded to winners. Starts at 1pm at the Otterville Park. We will have food and soda for the kids, also! OCTOBER 12th we will be hosting a PICKIN @ THE PARK SWAP MEET! Starts at 9 am to 3 pm! Buy, sell,trade or barter anything you like! Booths will be $20.00, no charge for non-profit organizations. The club will be cooking and serving food and drinks throughout the day! BOUNCE HOUSE FOR THE KIDS! We are hoping to fill the park with people, so give us a call and come on out for a day of PICKING AT THE PARK!!!! We also were able to get some Hunter Safety books! They are at the Otterville AG COOP if you have a child that is 11 years old that would like to take the hunter safety course please pick up a book there. We hope to have more books at the Fun Day Sept. 28th. They must read the book and take the test in the back of the book, then on Oct.23rd at 6pm at our Club House in Otterville we will be having the hands on part of the test They must take this part to get their certificate. The club will serve the kids supper that night after their testing. Call or in box me if you are interested!
