We had a sinkhole develop on the northbound lanes of I-69 between the 73 and 74 mile marker in CALDWELL County. This is between the Caldwell-Lyon County Line and Princeton. A crew got out there tonight and quickly filled it. Traffic was pushed over on the shoulder along the median to allow the hole to be filled and capped with flowable fill, a concrete material. The hole was about 5 ft. across and 5 ft. deep once the crew dug into it. Special thanks to our Caldwell County crew and some folks from Christian County who came out in the dark of night to get things set straight. A crew will be back out there next week to put a more permanent asphalt cap over the spot.
