We had a very special visitor in the gym this afternoon - Cooper Hammond! The room was full of fighters, but he was the biggest fighter of us all! This little guy is suffering from a rare liver disorder called Urea Cycle Disorder CPSI & is in need of a liver transplant. He doesnt have a functioning liver, which means his body cant break down protein. This can result in ammonia poisoning & excessive levels can result in either Cooper going into acoma or passing away. Even though hes stacked against the odds, he keeps fighting, smiling & enjoying life like theres nothing wrong! He loved sharing the ring & bag so much hes little face lit up & we had him giggling hysterically!
