We had a visitor to the Backyard Farm, today. My aunt Marsha, came to look at the animals and visit a while. The goats were putting on a show and came up to her for loving. I have decided to sale out my rabbitry. I want to focus on dairy goats and milking and cheese making etc. And I feel having the rabbits will be too much for me to handle, all at one time...I also decided to sale Little hoss. He is such a precious goat and will make a good herd sire. I still have a decision to make about Tripp..... We lost 3 of the nest of 4 kits, they appeared to be thriving and just started dying off. All of the dalmation kits are doing well and are starting to venture out of the nest. We picked another bushel of green beans today and half a bushel of grapes for making jelly. So far we have 23 quarts of green beans canned.
