We had an amazing time in Phillip Island. What a remarkably beautiful place it is. Bella and I are home while Luke is cursing his as yet unfit to fly lungs. He has spent all day every day sitting in a car since last tuesday. Many doubted hed get to the Island, never mind race all weekend. Such an incredible achievement as just 4 weeks ago he spent almost a week in ICU. Unfortunately he didnt do as well as he would have liked at the track as he was plagued with mechanical issues, but none the less he was so happy to be there and absolutely loved the track. Bella and I had a chance to get out and do some sight seeing and had a ball. Thanks heaps to John, Adam, Christopher, Val, David, Anna, Skeet, Bella, Bells who all came and supported and of course John, who worked tirelessly leading up to and during the event to get him there and on the track. (even if he was impossible to live with during the lead up) They are resting in Dubbo tonight and should be home tomorrow night.
