We had another amazing Death Cafe tonight at Bean Around Books here in Maple Ridge. 13 of us were passionately talking out loud in a public place all about death, our beliefs, fears, concern, and attitudes. There was a wonderful mix of ages from 16, 18, 13, and 25 all the way up to 70 and a 50/50 split in gender yeah for the men! The young ones were well served by the elders and visa versa! Slowly and surely one conversation at a time the conversation about death is changing from fear and denial to acceptance and inspiration. Yeah!! Next Death Cafe will be held in early August date to be announced. Thanks to all those who joined in the chats come again next time and bring a friend. Much Love Stephen
