We had another amazing day in Macedonia. Explored Ohrid city on Ohrid lake, then went to Bitola very nice small town but looks very busy. Then went to winery Popova Kula for lunch - there is winery and small boutique hotel there. Excellent food paire dwith wine. Then went to Stobi archeological site. stobi.mk/ . Amazing fact that An ancient synagogue has also been discovered by archeologists in Stobi, , dating from the 4th or 3rd century BCE, attesting to a Jewish presence , created by the father of the Synagogue of Stobi, Tiberius Claudius Polycharmos. A synagogue from the IV century was found in Stobi over the remains of the synagogue from the III century. The synagogue in Stobi is one of the most important archaeological discoveries in the South Slavic countries dating from antique period. During this period, Stobi developed itself into a city with a unique Christian religion in the kingdom, and the synagogue was converted into a Christian church. After Stobi, we went towards Bulgarian border and staying overnight in nice country mountain hotel Monastir. Tomorrow back to Bulgaria. Loved Macedonia! With Go Balkans
