We had one game take place yesterday, a playtest of Greg Markers ConQuest Avalon game. This was a French and Indian Wars game in which the French and Indians were out to kill, or take captive, British civilians. The various English troops, ranging from Highlander Guards to Rangers to Provincials and militia, had to protect them. I went up against Leo Longoria who had the aggressive Natives but was able to bottleneck him due to the terrain. The French center had more luck but werent able to complete the task. The French left mostly ran except for a batch of Natives who worked their way around the flank. British win due to losing no civilians and not as many troops. The game used Rank and File rules.
