We had sinned and lost favor with God Almighty. God who knew no sin became sin for us. At the cross, the full extent of God’s fiery indignation for our sins fell upon God Himself, such that He cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” With God accepting the punishment from God for our sins, God was satisfied and our path to Heaven is now free and available for all those who call upon Him. If you can wrap your mind even slightly around all this, take a moment to thank Him for His merciful kindness in sparing your eternity. Thank you God for Salvation.
