We have 2, four year old females located in Old Town Maine, probably sisters but not known for sure, that need new homes. Together would be nice but separating them is doable. A young woman with a big heart rescued them from a bad situation on 12/13. One is fawn and the other is brindle. They are underweight and have some skin and ear issues going on from their neglect and lack of proper care. They are intact and were probably used for breeding though I do not know whether either actually had puppies. They are both sweet girls and do very well with the two five year old boys that she takes care of during the day. They also lived with other dogs and cats previously and were fine I am told. Jessica ODonoghue and her husband Bill, generously took the long drive up to meet them and both girls were good with them and very sweet. No doubt craving love and attention and gladly accepting it. So, I need to find one or two foster homes if separated, to take them in. If I cant find an approved foster/s to take them, my only other option is to put you in direct contact with this young lady if seriously interested and you would deal privately with her. Im willing to help however I can in good match making, as is Jessica Im sure and she lives in Maine and was the lucky one to actually meet and spend time with them. Obviously if private there is no adoption donation to FORM. Our adoption donation is $500.00 and the woman they are with is not asking or requiring any fee, she just would like them to get loving homes and the medical care they need. So your $500 would stay in your pocket and be just about right taking them to your own vet and getting them spayed and UTD. It looks and sounds to me like simply getting them on quality food would clear up most of their issues.
