We have a brief update of company news to share. NEW EMPLOYEES: We recently welcomed four new members to our team: Mukur Hazari is our new Program Manager supporting the VHA. Mukur comes to us from IBM, where he was a Managing Consultant supporting a number of Federal and Public Sector clients. He has held many roles including: Testing Team Lead, Federal acquisition systems Subject Matter Expert, Senior Business Analyst and Help Desk manager. He has managed multiple projects and teams, designed user management and website processes, and collaborated between multiple functional and technical teams to ensure requirements accuracy. As part of IBM’s corporate service responsibility initiative, Mukur worked in Nairobi, Kenya on development projects to effect positive impact on the country. Mukur speaks English, Gujarati, and French, is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management and Information Systems from Penn State University. Vanja Basaric is a new addition to our Great Falls office, where she’ll help us with Human Resources and recruiting. Vanja graduated from James Madison University in May 2013 with a Master’s in Public Administration and a concentration in management. She completed her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University with a B.S. in public policy in 2011. Throughout her graduate career, Vanja worked as the head research assistant in the James Madison University department of political science and served as the student representative on the JMU Master of Public Administration Advisory Board. Vanja has experience working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a public engagement intern, a Capitol Hill intern for Congressman Chris Van Hollen in the House of Representatives, a law clerk at the Maryland Attorney General’s office, and has held several internships with various non-profit organizations in the Washington D.C. area. Vanja grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, and currently lives in Potomac. Janet Wilson is a new academic administrator assisting our client at the VAAA. Janet has over 25 years of experience in training development as an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) and Project Manager. She has experience developing and delivering both synchronous and asynchronous training, specifically designing and developing Web-based training. She has also developed courseware and taught using webinar software such as Adobe Connect, GoToMeeting, and LiveMeeting. Additionally, Janet has experience with Blackboard and Sakai as a developer and learner. She possesses experience in knowledge management through documenting lessons learned and using a SharePoint portal to organize and tag organizational assets such as templates for future reference in other projects. Janet has also managed a research project to determine the process for obtaining accreditation for the DHS I&A training academy, identifying several steps including developing the necessary courseware artifacts and developing an instructor training program. For all courseware she has managed, Ms. Wilson has either developed or assisted with developing Quality Assurance plans for testers to follow at each stage of development, including everything from checking the accuracy of content at the storyboard stage to the final state of ensuring accuracy of navigation for electronic courseware. These plans included role-based assignment for revisions, sign-offs for reviewers, and verifiers. Janet has a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. Caitlin Steinbach is a new academic administrator assisting our client at the VAAA, where she will be supporting the Supply Chain Management School. Caitlin has experience working as House Manager at James Madison University’s new Forbes Center for the Performing Arts. She has also worked as a graduate assistant at James Madison’s Health Sciences Department. Caitlin has a Master of Science in Education with concentration in instructional design and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from James Madison University. NEW CONTRACT AWARD: Eagle II: Sterling Heritage is part of the core TMR Eagle II team that has been awarded an Eagle II IDIQ contract by Department of Homeland Security. As part of the TMR EAGLE II team, we will be competing on Task Orders in Functional Category 2 – Information Technology Program Support Services. Eagle II is potentially a $22 Billion acquisition vehicle. We are very excited that we won this opportunity.
