We have a lot of new followers, so I want to share Santino’s story... Santino was born with Bilateral Perisylvian Polymicrogyria(BPP). This is an extremely rare neurological condition caused by a malformation of the brain. There is not much research in this area, and we have found that no two cases are alike. We know that it has caused Santino to have low muscle tone throughout his body affecting his breathing, eating and movement. It is also the cause of a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congentia (AMC) AMC is described as multiple contractors in more than one limb. Although some doctors did not think he would survive, he has proven to be a fighter. He will be 1 on January 21, 2015. Our goal is to raise awareness about BPP and AMC by giving families hope if they ever are faced with this or something like it. Throughout our journey this year, we have learned so much about having Faith and the Power of Prayer. Please continue to keep Santino in your prayers because he has a long journey ahead.
