We have a room available in our 4 bedroom house in Fitzroy North. Queer friendly and we’re open to all people, though no bros please. The place is in a ridiculously good location – on park st – right near a bike path, all the PT you need, supermarkets and a few places to eat and drink. The house is quite large, and the room is on the larger side too – and will come unfurnished. The house is a little old, and arguably, a little run down. But there’s plenty of charm, and the rent is only $450 p.c.m + bills. It’s not a vego house, but it previously has been, and we’d probably prefer someone who doesn’t cook up a steak that often. Pet friendly, but it would need to come over to make sure it got along with our little Yorkie Bettina. She’s real cute and an added bonus to living here. There are 4 of us. Katie and Vee in one room, Katie likes Rupaul’s all stars drag race and youtube clips of dog parties, flipping burgers and studying education. Vee is a recent arrival from the states, discusses political issues, likes music and could probably be swayed into cooking some real nice Mexican food. Jess makes cool pottery, likes VHS, techno, loquats, cheap burgers and faux fur. I like to garden, read, play scrabble, and see bands.
