We have a tendency to complicate way to many things. Thats why instruction manuals for a 2 inch by 4 inch cell phone are 80 pages long, as an example. God knows how we like to gum up the works with all of our explanations or opinions. God however says, He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God Micah 6:8. Jesus puts it so plainly... Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31, When we put God first and others second Jesus would say thats the right order. Unfortunately, we so often put Me first and then cant understand why things just dont seem to ever work out to our total satisfaction. The devils way is Me first, always. Gods way is God first others second, always. Ok, I got it LORD! Now, help me in love and devotion to keep You first and humbly serve others in love.
