We have all heard the phrase, “you can’t be half pregnant”. Some things in life are either black or white by their very definition. For example, you cannot live in a society that is “half equal”. Either it is equal or it is unequal, regardless of intensity. Similarly, in a country which claims to be a democracy, we cannot accept the notion of some Canadians being “more Canadian” than others. Unfortunately, Stephen Harper and his Conservative Government do not believe in this logical consensus.
