We have all watched the price of crude tumble and along with it the price of refined products. Just when you think they can’t go down any more they drop again. Common sense would tell you that is would be impossible for crude to go below $60.00 but common sense also told us that it was nearly impossible for it to go below $80.00 so throw that out the window. For those of you contemplating filling your tanks before the end of the year now may be the time to do it. We saw a little bit of an uptick today in pricing but nothing outrageous. In the past month we have seen an 85 cent drop in diesel prices which I think is unprecedented. We may see a little more weakness in the market but I think it will be negligible. We have not pulled the pin on any type of forward contracts for next year as the prices haven’t given us the bounce that shows we need to get in but we may see that in the next couple weeks and I will keep you updated about that. Talk to your driver if you are interested in a fill before year end and they will get you taken care of. The holidays will mean that there will be a few less days for delivery so contact your driver early to get on the schedule. Happy Holidays.
