We have an emergency today in the orphanage in Bapatla. Yesterday during a big storm the main room of the orphanage lost its roof and 12 girls are now sharing with 11 boys in a room barely big enough for the boys alone. The landlord has said he has no money to repair the roof but if the orphanage can repair it they can have the place rent free for one year. If you check the photos of the Bapatla place you will see a photo of the children being fed. That is the room. It would be good to put tiles on the roof instead of bamboo which houses snakes during the rainy season. At this stage I donot know the cost of repairs but God does.
