We have an urgent plea for foster homes! We were contacted about a litter of 5 Pit Bull puppies in California that may have cerebellar hypoplasia and are at risk for euthanasia. Transport is available if we can get fosters! Cerebellar hypoplasia causes jerky movements, tremors and generally uncoordinated motion. These puppies are not in pain, can eat and drink like normal (just jerky)...they just get around a little differently! They are not incontinent and can be housed trained. As they get older, they should be able to adapt to the jerky movements. Excitement makes the movements more pronounced and they are usually mellow when resting. We have had one other cerebellar dog in the rescue and he was adopted out and is living a happy life a family! Can ANYONE foster one or a couple of these pups?! If we can get them foster homes...we can save them all!
