IBM in Monroe has let us know about several openings for Security Services Specialists. Please note the below information is skills they would prefer. However, if you are a business/CIS major with the ability to learn these skills, they may be willing to work with you. Here is some more information about the job opportunities: a. Title/Job Roles: Identiy Access Management (SRM – Security and Risk Management) b. Area of scope/support: Identity Access Management (IAM) Secondary Controls c. Job Description: i. This role is responsible for providing a single point of contact for oversight and technical expertise regarding successful delivery of user ID administration to assigned account. ii. Primary duties are: iii. Serving as single point of contact for user ID administration services on assigned account(s)/platform(s) to ensure efficient and effective service delivery; reviewing and understanding all requirements; developing customer- and/or platform-specific expertise; conducting user ID-related problem determination and resolution; and ensuring all required process and procedure documentation is created and maintained. iv. Serving as main point of contact for all audit activity, including responding to data requests, coordinating the gathering of requested data, ensuring all findings and observations are addressed and appropriately mitigated; and attending audit meetings, as required. v. Performing routine and escalated user ID administration/ revalidation tasks. d. Job Skills: i. Strong understanding of Unix, Mainframe and Intel administration ii. Relevant experience in UserID Security and Risk iii. Strong verbal and written communications iv. Strong customer support skills v. 4+ years of security platform support (Unix, Mainframe, Mid-range and Intel) vi. Strong Excel and Access skills, with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and applications vii. Understanding of security standards and concepts and be able to implement User ID technical controls as required by the governing policy viii. Understanding of fundamental application infrastructure technologies: Operating System/networking, Middleware, Security, Databases, etc. e. Degree requirements: Looking for new college hires as well as alumni. Anyone with the ability to learn the above skills and graduates/graduated with a degree In Computer Information Systems or Business will work. f.
