We have been biting our tongue on this one for a while, but can finally announce that we will be performing at the 2013 80/35 Music Festival in Downtown Des Moines on July 5th and 6th!! This is the sixth year for the annual two-day progressive indie and jam music festival, which features nearly 40 national, regional, and local bands on multiple stages performing to 30,000 attendees each year. Music is such a vital element to our performances and with this year’s theme being ‘sensory overload’ it was clear that adding the visual stimulation of aerial arts was a great way to enhance the 80/35 experience. 80/35 is organized by the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition whose mission is to aggressively advocate, sponsor, and develop an independent, progressive live music community in greater Des Moines for the purpose of urban revitalization, regional economic development, and the retention of our region’s youth and future.
