We have been busy trying to replace the wiring in the house since we were down to about 2 outlets and multiple extension cords to run the entire kitchen, dining, and living rooms... When removing the plaster board to wire new outlets we discovered the bang-up job done on the walls... The 2x4s dont even reach the floor! They are suspended from the header on top and pinned together at the bottom with a 1/4 trim piece and nailed into a miscellaneous piece of 2x4 which is nails further down into the base plate of the wall behind it!!! ~flabbergasted~
