We have been getting several inquiries regarding our furbaby Lucus, so I want to let you all know what we are finding out. Thursday he underwent numerous tests and we are slowly narrowing things down. From past results we have found no more infection, no crystals nor blood in his urine and his PH factor is now where it should be. We have begun treating him with meds for Diabetes Insipidus. Our vet is leaning towards this more then anything as we ruled other things out. We will be seeing another doctor Tuesday for a 2nd opinion. Right now he is doing better we feel, and we are hoping it is due to meds. This form of diabetes is uncommon. This is possible genetic and/or due from trauma to him or his mom during birth or pregnancy. Needless to say, we want to say thanks for all the concerns and prayers that have been sent our way. I realize to some, he is just a dog, to use he is family....a baby yet at only 7 months. Thanks again everyone, God bless you all!
