We have been informed by Baltinglass Gardai that there has been an increase in thefts from vehicles parked in isolated areas. Gardai are advising that if you have to leave your car in a remote area you should ensure that it is locked correctly, alarmed where possible, that you have not left any property visible in the car. You should also be watchful when parking up that you are not being watched, and never leave your keys hidden around or near your vehicle. Report any suspicious sightings of vehicles in the area to Baltinglass Gardai.
