We have been informed by our veterinarians that pet owners are already experiencing severe allergy symptoms this year in our canine friends. Golden Rod is a main contributor of allergy (environmental) and it is out a bit early this year. They recommend a dose of benedryl to relieve minor allergy symptoms. However, if your dog is showing severe signs, such as constant itching, contributing to broken skin, red scaling skin, bumps, rashes or deep ear pain, please make an appointment with your veterinarian. There are medications to relieve severe symptoms before the open wounds become infected. Also, FLEAS are a main contributor to allergies. They can cause ear mites and Tape Worm. Please protect your canine friend with a veterinarian approved flea preventative.
