We have developed a good relationship with the youth home. There are kids and teens from age 5 to 17 years of age. They each have a social worker and might be in the home for one night or a year. They arrive with nothing and leave with a kit of toiletries that are available. Our job is to provide clothing, toiletries (shampoo, conditioners, hair spray, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, lotions,etc.) all the things we take for granted. The home receives limited funds. These kids and teens do not deserve to be forgotten. We are planing another trip soon to take more supplies and to spend the day playing games and just getting to know each one and making sure that they know someone cares.
