We have enemies lining up outside of our countrys borders. ISIS is reported to be in Mexico. This is the most ruthless Islamic terrorist group we have seen as of yet. They are as brutal as any group we have seen. This group, in my humble opinion, is on the verge of causing terror world wide. And there are citizens from around the world joining them. Including American citizens. They are coming. According to published reports, they have been coming and growing in number for the last couple of years. And we are opening our borders and letting everyone waltz in and guess who is coming for dinner? Its a very scary world. Its full of all sorts of evil and evil always hates. It would be easy to sit back and blame a president or congress and while it may be true, this is an evil bigger than any man. We could be seeing the curtains closing on the drama that is this present darkness. I pray it is. For I am convinced that God will rapture the church as we enter the last seven years of this age. Jesus Christ will take up to heaven with Him all of those who believe in Him as Lord and Savior. We will avoid the tribulation. There are those who believe and the Bible does make a case that we will live through the tribulations. I pray that is not true. But in either case, we must hold tight to Jesus. He is our only hope. In this passage, Paul describes Jesus as well as He is described anywhere in scripture. Colossians 1:15-20 ESV He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. Did you skim over it? Go back and read it again. Go back and see that Jesus is everything. He is everything and the only thing that you will ever need. If you know Him, You know God. If you dont know Him, you will only know the wrath of God. Lord, today I ask that You would draw those of us who are not Yours to You. I pray that You will bring them to their knees as they realize how desperately they need Jesus. I pray for those of you who are reading this to embrace Jesus and turn towards Him so that you can live in eternity with Him. In Jesus Name.
