We have extended the deadline for our job posting! Please share this post! Camp Sunshine has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Project Manager/Administrator in our Holland office. Schedule A total of 1,000 – 1040 hours per year, with weekly hours averaging 15 – 20 hours. Presence in the Camp Sunshine office for a predetermined but flexible weekly schedule is required. The pace of work varies throughout the year, culminating with four sessions of camp in July and August, during which full-time attendance is required. Compensation is hourly. Responsibilities Provide administrative and clerical support to the Executive Director and other Camp Sunshine team members as necessary. Provide project management and logistical follow-through to facilitate camp operations and events. Tasks include: • Act as the administrative hub. Collect, open, analyze, and distribute mail to appropriate people; respond to phone messages, and emails; file and retrieve documents, records, and reports; prepare and send donor thank-yous for general donor, endowments, golf outing, etc.; and make travel and meeting arrangements as required. • Manage the process for counselor and camper applications; update and produce application forms, confirmation letters, and surveys as required; plan and execute mailings. • Assemble and confirm camper and counselor data; produce documentation for camp director, nursing team, and others who need detailed rosters of campers and counselors. • Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventories of necessary supplies and materials. • Prepare reports, letters, and presentations using word processing and presentation software. • Manage schedules and project plans to assure coordination across the Camp Sunshine team. • Arrange for services, supplies, facilities, or equipment (such as tent rentals, T-shirt purchases, office supplies) within the scope assigned; manage the inventory and, through volunteers, staffing of product sales at camp sessions. • Attend staff meetings to record minutes or track assignments. Qualifications and requirements • One year of college required; additional education preferred • Two years’ experience in an administrative or project management role • Demonstrated attention to detail and follow-through • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral • Demonstrated skill in Word (including keying at least 50 wpm), Excel, PowerPoint, and email clients required; experience with online applications and database functions also required • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation Apply Please email resume and cover letter to Cindy Terlouw, Executive Director at campsunshinemi@gmail.
