We have finally chosen a winner for our engagement story - TopicsExpress

We have finally chosen a winner for our engagement story competition. The winner receives a personalised Guest/wedding planning book made from timber and engraved with your choice of text! This was so extremely hard! We were touched by each story and loved how we had engagements from Byron Bay, Cairns and Tasmania all the way to London, Paris and New Zealand! There were ladies who had their man get down on one knee in the traditional style, and those who are wearing a ring but still waiting for a proposal! We had handmade signs and messages scribed in the sand, to those getting stuck in elevators and finding will you marry me signs in the hood of their car! Some ladies got proposed to on their anniversary, and there were those who got the ring on Christmas and New Years Eve. Before we announce the winner, make sure you have liked our page and stay in touch as we will be doing more competitions and exploring everything to do with weddings. Make us your destination for inspiration and planning, and remember we make Australias best and most customised wedding favours when your special day comes around. We love giving our fans special discounts and freebies so keep your eyes out! Drum roll please...................... The winner is............. Hayley Cook! Heres their beautiful story........... My partner asked me to officially be his girlfriend as the sun was setting at Byron bay lighthouse. 11 months later he took me on a surprise weekend away. We ended up in a beautiful hotel at Wategos beach Byron bay. He organised a surprise in room massage and organised the fire place to be ready when returning from dinner. The alarm woke us up on Sunday morning at 5:30am and I was told to get up and get ready. We drove up to the lighthouse and he walked me to the lookout. As the sun was rising he whispered I love you in my ear and told me to stay watching the sun and to put my hand out. I was to close my eyes until he told me to open them. When I opened my eyes I saw a love lock that said will you marry me? and I turned around. My partner was on one knee with an amazing diamond ring. I of course said yes! We put the love lock on the fence with our date and personal saying start of something good. It will always be there and will remind us of our very special moment! Message us now to claim your prize! Thanks again ladies!!!
