We have forgotten the basics of looking into each others eyes. We dehumanize one another through labels and tags. Human beings become numbers and polls to analyze. We only value the lives of those worthy and care less about those unknown.. But that little girl is a human. She had a name. She used to kiss the sun each dawn And dress the night sky with hand picked fireflies and shooting stars. She gave us hope. She gave us love. We gave her a number and forgot her name. We forgot to look into her eyes and into her soul. We all bleed red! We all breathe air!
