We have had a crazy busy week... ups and downs, feats and fits, and every emotion along with lots of hugs and At-a-boys (so this may be a long one)! Max is a busy little fighter! As you probably already know, we started our first three days this week at the hospital for his MRI, then Clinic, and lastly the swallow study. Which he PASSED! Wooo Hoooo! The MRI results are still weighing on my heart a bit, but I am keeping the faith and trusting all is well! The rest of the week weve fit in all 4 of his regularly scheduled weekly therapies! Max did well with PT and OT; showing off a little of his beginner crawling skills and making paper cookies for Santa. I moved our living room around to give Max move room to practice crawling.. it has actually become his play room hence our exploding fireplace of toys in most photos. .lol We are getting in the Christmas spirit and put our Christmas tree up! Max is intrigued and I am anxious that its like 2 weeks away! Max had some reluctance with eating during feeding/speech therapy and also during his swallow study but did much better tonight with dinner. I am so proud of him. He will get there! The results from his allergy test are also in: He hit on peanut/tree nuts as we expected and also hit for wheat and corn? Just thinking of what kind of diet he could have would be a nightmare, but we are using common sense and past history episodes as the doctor put it. They get false negatives and false positives on these tests often, so just the fact that he eats those wheat puffs all day/everyday with no reactions. . We will continue to give wheat and carefully watch with corn while cutting out nuts all together! His Pediatrician is sending a prescription for the EpiPen in case of emergency. We were so exited to get a visit from Maxs Papa (my dad) the other night! We havent seen him in about a year due to truck driving for a living! Max has changed so much since he last seen him in the hospital just getting over his 6th round of Chemo! Max was so excited to see Papa and loved watching his Karate moves. .. he laughs hysterically and eats it up! Max is fast asleep now so I better get the dishes done and head to bed myself. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Feeling Blessed, ♡Maxs Mom
